The Artist
Halla Hannelin, born in 1998, is a Finnish artist based in Spain. She favors animals and people as subjects, using representational forms to explore abstract and non-physical themes. Her work draws from her dreams, surroundings, and emotional states. It sits between the tangible and the conceptual, rooted in moments and shaped by intuition.
Her practice includes a range of mediums, with a focus on acrylic and oil painting, as well as drawing with pens, markers and charcoal, among others.
